7. Discolored Skin
The medical term for this condition is called acral cyanosis, and it occurs when there is a decreased oxygen level in the blood. This can cause the skin to take on a bluish tinge, especially in the extremities such as the hands, feet, and nails. In more severe cases, the skin may also appear patchy or mottled. While acral cyanosis can be a sign of high blood pressure, it can also be caused by other conditions such as heart disease or anemia.
